NORTH WALES - UNITED KINGDOM

THE PROBUS CLUB OF LLANDUDNO

Llandudno Probus Club was formed in 1973 and is at the present time actively recruiting members. The club will be pleased to hear from retired and partially retired business and professional ladies and gentlemen living in or near Llandudno who might wish in retirement to consider joining a club which offers friendship, fellowship, support, and a variety of invited speakers at monthly luncheon meetings throughout the year.

Our regular meeting place has changed and we hope to hold our meetings at The Dunoon Hotel, Gloddaeth Street, Llandudno, twice monthly. On the first Wednesday in each month we meet for coffee and biscuits at 11 a.m. Our principal meeting is normally on the third Wednesday in each month at 12:30 p.m. for luncheon at 1 p.m. and the meal is usually followed by a guest speaker. But special arrangements have applied for meetings this winter. The club held a much enjoyed Christmas Luncheon at the Dunoon Hotel on December 14th.  Our luncheons on January 16th and February 20th were held at the North Wales Golf Club in Bryniau Road, Llandudno, after which date the Dunoon Hotel has hopefully become our regular venue.

Probus Members visiting Llandudno and District are welcome to attend our meetings,
please contact the Secretary in advance for further details.

ABOUT LLANDUDNO

Llandudno is the largest seaside tourist resort in Wales and as early as 1864 was being described as the Queen of Welsh Resorts, an accolade that it continues to merit.  For many years it has also been a very popular residential area for leading business and professional people and a favourite place in which to retire.
